Camp will start at 9am on Wednesday 26th and finish on the Wednesday & Thursday nights at 5.00pm. On Friday camp will begin at 9am as usual but end at approximately 4.30pm.
Staff will group children by riding ability and the children will be allocated a pony on day one - they will then have to take care of that pony for the rest of camp, be it mucking out, grooming, cleaning tack etc. There will be riding instruction each day, whether it is flat work, jumping or even some games and hopefully parents will notice improvements.
Campers are expected to do what is asked of them by staff and to be well behaved at all times. Please ensure that your child has a good nights’ sleep each night to allow them to do their best.
The kit list: - Jodhpurs, white long sleeved shirts (no bare arms) and a tie for Tack and Turnout, boots, riding hat, coat and gloves are absolute must haves. Please allow for wet or sunny weather by sending waterproofs, sun cream and a sun hat! Please name all belongings!!
On the Friday afternoon beginning at 3pm, parents are invited to come along and see what their children have learnt during camp and also witness a short performance by their children, after which you may take them home.
